Red-haired comedian Kathy Griffin started the war of words when she was asked, "Biggest douche celebrity you've ever met?", to which she replied with:
Gotta love how she called her "Debbie"!
Well, "Debbie" wasn't very pleased with this, and she tweeted a picture of herself with her tongue sticking out and the caption: "Only a douche to people I can't stand".
Demi quickly deleted the tweet, but it was too late, as Kathy had already retweeted it, adding "Haha THIS is a funny pic!"
Lovato's fans haven't taken very kindly to Kathy's criticism, and they have inundated the comedian with insults and death threats. You're gonna want to read these (click to enlarge):
