What To Wear On A Night Out

Those Barcelona nights set us free

It's Saturday!!!

What are your plans, people? I will be celebrating my boyfriend's birthday with a family lunch first and then with some friends at night.

This is the plan: dinner, some drinks, gay club, more drinks.

Here in Barcelona people go out really late and you don't start partying seriously until around 2am. So you will want to be comfortable, but still look good, because those bars and clubs are crammed with people, and we all like to feel good about the way we look.

First and foremost, we need self-confidence, only then we will be able to really wear our clothes.

Remember, self-confidence comes from within, and our clothes are there for us to dress it.

Moving on, since this isn't an excerpt from a self-help book.

I decided to create a Saturday night look. Well, you can wear this look whenever you want. I always do, I don't know why I'm calling it a "Saturday night look" when I went out looking exactly like this even today.

Anyway! Check these out, see what you think (click on the pictures for details):

I don't think you can go wrong with leather jackets. I love them, they look good for lunch or dinner and they look great for a concert or a night out on the town.

A simple t-shirt or a hooded one will look great under your leather jacket. It depends on the weather really. I usually wear my Lady Gaga, Madonna or David Beckham t-shirts under mine!

I have a soft spot for pop culture t-shirts. I own several, and they do look great if you're going for a more casual look.

Jeans. Leather jackets should be worn with good jeans. Grey, black, blue, it doesn't matter. Jeans and leather, birds of a feather.

When it comes to shoes, it's up to you really. I have somewhat big feet so I prefer to wear small shoes, not chunky ones that will make my feet look even bigger. I own that pair of Levi's boots and I love them, they're comfortable, and believe me, I've spent entire nights dancing in them!

That's all! If you're cold, wear a scarf! Remember what Kafka once said?

"Better to have, and not need, than to need, and not have"
