Dogs or Cats?

The age-old question: dogs or cats? Loyalty or pretentiousness?

Luckily, most people I know love pets. I actually think that if you don't like animals chances are you are a terrible human being. And since most of my friends love pets, last night somebody liked this picture on Facebook:

 

Well, I thought it was hilarious. Now I adore animals, and I have probably had around seven or eight cats in my life, and one dog. But I do have a soft spot for cats, and the bad rep they get just makes me love them even more.

Meet Marilyn, my sister's cat. Isn't she beautiful?

 They are very different between each other; dogs are loyal, they couldn't live without you and they really are your friends. Cats are more like roommates: you share your home with them, and they love you, but they don't depend on you. But we all love them both, don't we? They are the most sincere, loyal life companions.

And this is Peggy, my other sister's dog. She's adorable.

There's nothing more addictive than playing with your pet, right? I spent Christmas with my family in Italy last year and literally couldn't stop playing with my sister's cat. I had so much fun! Sometimes you just need string, but there are so many toys your pets could play with. This, for example, is fantastic:

As for your dog, he would be happy enough with this:
