The two pop starlets (don't be mad, Avril, I love you but you make pop music) have been supporting each other for a while. While Avril used to rule the charts
like no other a few years ago, Miley has had a similar impact with her recent releases, although Miley's album sales pale in comparison to Avril's, but then again the music industry has changed immensely.Avril has publicly showed support for Miley on a number of occasions. Last year, after Miley's VMAs performance that shocked the World (God knows why, maybe it was just that bad), she said:
"I mean, Miley Cyrus is doing her thing. And all of us artists express ourselves in our own ways."
She also promoted her friend's music through her personal Twitter account. Their (probably very similar) fanbases must be happy about this alliance!
