Spice Girls 2014

The Spice Girls, minus Posh

Rumours of a Spice Girls reunion surface as often as Miley Cyrus sticks her tongue out: every two minutes. And there is never really any truth to them. The Girls are usually very quick to deny the stories that make their way into the papers and that are often started by the Twitter population.

But this time it seems that the Spice Girls might be making their comeback, although it's unclear whether it will be a tour, a new album or just a one-off show in the UK.

According to various sources (we like to call them "insiders") the group will make an announcement on Monday, March the 24th, and they have already booked a venue for a Spice party next weekend. Ah to be on that guest list!

The Spice Girls last reunited for the launch of their musical, "Viva Forever!", which was slaughtered by the critics and only managed to last its initial six-month run.

But prior to that, the group rocked the Olympics' Closing Ceremony. They performed on top of five customised black cabs (the typical British taxis) and brought their old larger-than-life personas Baby, Ginger, Scary, Posh and Sporty back to life, they stole the spotlight from the actual athletes and were on the front pages of newspapers all around the World the next day.

This reunion will more than likely include only four out of the five original members, as Victoria Beckham has burnt all bridges with her popstar past.

It's definitely time to start saving some money, we might all be travelling to London pretty soon!
