Lady Gaga Rocks Letterman's Late Show

Lady Gaga, Bill Murray and David Letterman
Lady Gaga appeared on Letterman's Late Show last night to perform her new single, "G.U.Y." live on TV for the first time ever.

She was spotted filming outside and inside the Roseland Ballroom in New York City, where she is currently performing seven consecutive sold out shows.

She didn't only perform her new single, she also sat at her piano and sang "Dope", a song off her latest album, "ARTPOP".

Fabulous outfits, impressive vocals and a lot of fun, Lady Gaga delivered again.

Lady Gaga Unveils "G.U.Y." Single Cover

Gaga's handwriting

After the World premiere of the "G.U.Y." music video, which also features other songs from her latest album "ARTPOP" (Purchase the ARTPOP vinyl here), Lady Gaga took to Twitter and LittleMonsters.com to unveil the single cover. It features a still from the opening section of the music video: a winged, naked Lady Gaga. In the short film, you can see that the singer has been attacked by numerous businessmen who use her, squeeze all the money they can out of her and then abandon her.

But this is Lady Gaga we're talking about, and unsurprisingly, she gets up, makes her way to a liberating place where friendly, artistic minds take care of her until she's ready to take over the World again.

The video has received almost ten million views in 24 hours, and the song is starting to slowly climb up the iTunes charts worldwide. Will this be Lady Gaga's return to form after her latest album failed to sell as much as her previous records? People have been quick to dismiss the project as a "flop", a word that so many music fans seem to love and use even when it's completely unnecessary.

The album has simply underperformed, which shouldn't come as a surprise considering the long break the singer took after she had to cancel her North American dates of the "Born This Way Ball" tour due to a hip injury that left her on a wheelchair for months.

"artRave: The ARTPOP Ball" and future singles and personal appearances should help the album stay in the charts. In the meantime, buy "ARTPOP" and "G.U.Y." here:

Lady Gaga Premieres New Video: G.U.Y.

A scene from the G.U.Y. music video
Lady Gaga premiered the video for her new single G.U.Y. tonight, with an exclusive two minute preview on NBC's Dateline, followed by the premiere of the full, seven minute short film on her VEVO channel.

The build up to the premiere took the Internet by storm, as Gaga was trending for hours on various media outlets and social networks such as Twitter, Google and CNN. Her legions of Little Monsters were clearly desperate for something new, especially because her last video was released in August, 2013. For someone who brought the music video back to total relevance, that's a long time ago.

She teased for days with stills from the video, and thirty minutes before the premiere, she tweeted this .gif image:

Minutes before the premiere, fan sites and music forums stopped working. One of Lady Gaga's biggest fan sites, GagaDaily, crashed under the weight of more than 2,200 over-excited fans who were waiting for the video together.

Lady Gaga to be "gagged and beaten" in upcoming tour?

The woman who wore a meat dress, faked her own death on live TV and had a "vomit painter" puke all over her during a recent performance is apparently willing to be "gagged and beaten" by her dancers during her upcoming tour: artRave: the ARTPOP Ball (get tickets), according to Life&Style magazine.

She was overheard discussing plans for the tour, and saying that she really wants to "push the envelope". This definitely sounds familiar, as Lady Gaga, as an artist, has been pushing the envelope ever since she burst onto the music scene with "Just Dance".

The singer is expected to premere the video for her new single, "G.U.Y.", tomorrow night on NBC's Dateline, a weekly American television reality legal show/newsmagazine series. Can't fault her for not being original.
