Lady Gaga Rocks Roseland

Lady Gaga smiles at her audience

Lady Gaga played the last ever show the Roseland Ballroom in New York City will ever see, and boy did she bring the house down! Luckily for us, Verizon live-streamed the entire thing online!

The star was clearly on top form and felt comfortable in an environment she knows well, having started off playing all the small bars and pubs in the city back in those days when the World didn't know who Lady Gaga was.

Gaga cracked a good amount of jokes, she said hello to her mother and father, who were in the audience, and let a female fan feel her breasts. It was a very entertaining show that didn't lack anything.

Good live band? Check.
Great vocals? Check.
Funny jokes? Check.
Inspiring speeches? Check.

The set started with a stripped down version of "Born This Way" and Gaga showcased her impressive vocals.

"Black Jesus † Amen Fashion" followed, and it was lyrically very fitting:

"I grew up in New York City, since I was born on Broadway baby. Moved downtown when I was just 19 to start a new life on the New York scene"

She also gave her fans the chance to hear "Monster", an album track from "The Fame Monster", a song she hadn't performed since 2011 during her "Monster Ball" tour.

The show continued with Gaga's biggest hits "Bad Romance", "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" as well as material from her latest album, "ARTPOP".

Lady Gaga climbs a ladder during "Bad Romance"

One of the highlights of the show was definitely "Yoü And I", Gaga's declaration of love to an ex boyfriend.

"Applause" and new single "G.U.Y." closed the show and Gaga couldn't have looked any happier. She also said goodbye to Amanda, a dancer who has been working with Gaga since 2009 but won't be part of her team anymore.

You can watch the entire show below.

You're welcome.

The Roseland Ballroom shows have served as an appetizer before the main course: artRave - the ARTPOP Ball (get tickets).

Gaga has always declared that her whole life is a show, and that she constantly lives between two things: fantasy and reality, art and pop. That is why every night outside the Roseland Ballroom she has given the fans and the paparazzi exactly what they want: glamurous, OTT outfits and lots of charisma. Click on the pictures to enlarge them.

During one of the shows, Gaga felt comfortable enough to flash her bare, perfect bottom to her adoring fans.

"Too much" is an expression Lady Gaga is not aware of, and most people don't seem to mind!

Lady Gaga Celebrates Her Birthday... in FOUR Different Outfits

One day, four Gagas!
Being Lady Gaga must be a lot of fun.

The Lady turned 28 today, and she made the most of her birthday by being seen in four different outfits, all equally fabulous. The girl's love affair with fashion seems to be stronger than ever these days.

During the day, the star was seen toing and froing between her New York City apartment and the Roseland Ballroom, where she has been rehearsing for a series of seven consecutive sold out shows, which will take place before the venue shuts down forever.

Giving the fans what they want
The most fabulous outfit of the day was definitely the Roseland-inspired one. Gaga strategically placed red roses all over her body, leaving her back completely uncovered. Well, almost completely uncovered, as one red rose found its way to her famous derriere.

You can watch a video of Gaga's arrival at the venue here. She was greeted by excited fans who sang her "Happy Birthday", which Gaga must have appreciated, considering the tweet she sent tonight:

Lady Gaga to be "gagged and beaten" in upcoming tour?

The woman who wore a meat dress, faked her own death on live TV and had a "vomit painter" puke all over her during a recent performance is apparently willing to be "gagged and beaten" by her dancers during her upcoming tour: artRave: the ARTPOP Ball (get tickets), according to Life&Style magazine.

She was overheard discussing plans for the tour, and saying that she really wants to "push the envelope". This definitely sounds familiar, as Lady Gaga, as an artist, has been pushing the envelope ever since she burst onto the music scene with "Just Dance".

The singer is expected to premere the video for her new single, "G.U.Y.", tomorrow night on NBC's Dateline, a weekly American television reality legal show/newsmagazine series. Can't fault her for not being original.
