Tom Ford Marries Partner Richard Buckley

Fashion designer Tom Ford has married his partner of 27 years, Richard Buckley!

Tom Ford and Richard Buckley

He eventually revealed the news during an interview at the Regent Street Apple Store in London last night:

"I lost so many friends in college, I would say more than half of my closest friends. Richard, my partner of 27 years had also gone through something also quite tough in his life. We are now married, which is nice. I know that was just made legal in the UK, which is great; we were married in the States."

The two met at a fashion show in the 80s, when Tom was 25 and Richard was 38. In 2012, they welcomed their first son, Alexander ‘Jack’ John Buckley Ford.

What To Wear On A Night Out

Those Barcelona nights set us free

It's Saturday!!!

What are your plans, people? I will be celebrating my boyfriend's birthday with a family lunch first and then with some friends at night.

This is the plan: dinner, some drinks, gay club, more drinks.

Here in Barcelona people go out really late and you don't start partying seriously until around 2am. So you will want to be comfortable, but still look good, because those bars and clubs are crammed with people, and we all like to feel good about the way we look.

First and foremost, we need self-confidence, only then we will be able to really wear our clothes.

Remember, self-confidence comes from within, and our clothes are there for us to dress it.

Moving on, since this isn't an excerpt from a self-help book.

I decided to create a Saturday night look. Well, you can wear this look whenever you want. I always do, I don't know why I'm calling it a "Saturday night look" when I went out looking exactly like this even today.

Anyway! Check these out, see what you think (click on the pictures for details):

I don't think you can go wrong with leather jackets. I love them, they look good for lunch or dinner and they look great for a concert or a night out on the town.

A simple t-shirt or a hooded one will look great under your leather jacket. It depends on the weather really. I usually wear my Lady Gaga, Madonna or David Beckham t-shirts under mine!

I have a soft spot for pop culture t-shirts. I own several, and they do look great if you're going for a more casual look.

Jeans. Leather jackets should be worn with good jeans. Grey, black, blue, it doesn't matter. Jeans and leather, birds of a feather.

When it comes to shoes, it's up to you really. I have somewhat big feet so I prefer to wear small shoes, not chunky ones that will make my feet look even bigger. I own that pair of Levi's boots and I love them, they're comfortable, and believe me, I've spent entire nights dancing in them!

That's all! If you're cold, wear a scarf! Remember what Kafka once said?

"Better to have, and not need, than to need, and not have"

Naomi Campbell's Reaction to Kim Kardashian's VOGUE Cover

As if Victoria Beckham's open letter to Anna Wintour wasn't enough.

Naomi Campbell recently appeared on Australian TV to promote her new reality show "The Face" (airing now on Oxygen). She was on Channel Seven's "The Morning Show" when the hosts started asking her about the latest VOGUE cover, which features Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West.

Controverial... K&K's VOGUE Cover
Naomi has graced the cover of VOGUE magazine countless times herself, and defines herself as a "fashion model".

As the hosts started firing the questions, she initially refused to comment, then let out a laugh and said... watch the video below:

Get David Beckham's look

David Beckham is a very busy man, he was recently spotted in Brasil filming a 90 minute documentary that is scheduled to air in June, and he is the face of countless world famous brands, but he always looks immaculate. He was pictured in London a few days ago looking as stylish and confident as ever.

He is a fashionable man who isn't afraid to accessorise and play around with clothes. He is definitely my style icon and he has been for years now. He rarely gets it wrong (sometimes he wears flip flops and baggy shorts that make him look like a teenage boy) and he, quite frankly, looks absolutely gorgeous in everything he wears.

This specific look really appeals to me, as I am into leather jackets like this one:

It doesn't look exactly the same, but it definitely has the same vibe. These are everyday jackets, you can wear them to go to work, to go to the bar with your friends or even on a night out on the town. It all depends on what you choose to wear it with.

When it comes to jeans, the more simple, the better. This is not 2003 and we are not into purposefully ripped jeans. Light blue, grey or black are the best colours for this particular look.

As for the shoes, these are perfect to complete the look:

As you can see, David is also wearing a hat and a scarf. Regular people tend to wear scarves around their necks, not in the back pocket of their jeans, but hey, fashion is what you make it! There are so many scarves to choose from, but this is the one I thought looked the most similar to the one David has:

It is unisex and the skulls will definitely give you a more unique look. The colour also goes brilliantly with the jacket and the grey jeans.

Last but not least, the hat. They don't look good on everyone but I am not one of those who think you can only wear what looks good on you. You must wear what makes you feel good. Don't care what anybody says! This is my personal favourite:

It's available in three different colours and it will keep your head warm on a bad hair day!

I hope you enjoyed this little "Get the look!" entry, I had fun searching the items for you!

Viva Forever - One Year On

London Madness (December 2012)
When, in 2009, the Spice Girls announced their latest venture, we weren't too impressed. "A musical?", we thought, "Who's gonna be interested in that? They only have 3 albums!". We did have a point. The Spice Girls were very much a thing of their time, and while their impact was gigantic, their music didn't exactly keep on selling through the years. After the first wave of nostalgic fans, the musical was destined to die.

We weren't wrong. It opened in November 2012 and by June 2013 it was gone. Apparently, Victoria Beckham didn't want to be a part of this project, which would explain her attitude during the promo appearances.

It's easy to mention all the negative aspects of something when it comes to the Spice Girls; these women have been providing massive doses of drama ever since they released their debut single, 'Wannabe', way back in 1996 (that is 17 years ago, by the way).

But, for us, this musical ended up representing another chance to escape to London and do our best to see the Spice Girls. Getting tickets to the premiere was incredibly hard, as they sold out almost immediately. A lovely friend of ours bought hers, but then realised she couldn't make it to London on time, and was looking for someone to sell them to. We raised our virtual hands and got hold of them faster than you could say "I LOVE YOU EMMA!".

It was a lovely few days. It was in December, it was all Christmassy and freezing cold and it seemed like we were living in Spiceworld again. Fans were flocking to the city, checking in their hotels, meeting up outside the Piccadilly Theatre, and as the crowd grew bigger, so did the feeling of excitement!

Police were everywhere and they were being a right pain: we couldn't stand anywhere, we were constantly being told things like "This space is for the paps", "This is for the cars"... we ended up behind some barriers, surrounded by two drunk people: a man who looked about 40 and a girl who was a huge Mel B fan. They were so stressful. The man was bearable, he was joined by some friends and left us alone, but that girl. THAT GIRL. We talked to her for what felt like hours. We held her Jack Daniels bottle, trying to avoid her terrible breath, and rolling our eyes at all the senseless crap she was spouting. We also met a lovely French guy, Guillaume. We still keep in touch with him.

A policewoman told us Victoria Beckham would not make her way to the theatre with the other girls, which we found disappointing, but not surprising. She has been distancing herself for years, she probably thinks Anna Wintour wouldn't like her enough if she associated herself with her ex-collegues.

About one hour later, the first cars started to arrive. The girls' families were first, it was a little surreal to see their husbands, but we didn't really care. But when a London cab arrived, we knew the time had come. Emma, Geri, Mel B and Melanie C stepped out, looking absolutely fabulous, and the crowd went wild! These women still hold such power over their fans, it's quite fascinating to see. As for us, we couldn't see anything! We were hating it, we were in the worst spot ever. The girls posed for the fans and the paparazzi, signed some autographs, then made their way to the red carpet.

That is when we realised we had a chance to be much closer to them. We had tickets. We showed them to some guard, literally RAN to the red carpet and stood just a couple of metres behind the girls. It was such a strange feeling! We were facing the paparazzi and the fans, the flashes were coming our way but, strangely, they didn't blind us. The girls were working the red carpet and we ended up in countless news reports around the world, as we later discovered thanks to an Australian friend who saw us on TV (click for proof!)! We screamed Emma's name, blew her a kiss, she saw us and blew us a kiss. We died a little inside. We stayed on that red carpet, just staring at them, for about 5 minutes, until someone ushered us into the theatre. What a crazy moment we had just lived!

We made our way upstairs, met a lot of people, fellow Spice fans we had been talking to online for years. The musical started, and it was... ok. Honestly, we wouldn't say it was awful, because it wasn't. It had its moments, it was funny and entertaining and the music was great. It just didn't really go anywhere, and the whole talent show plot didn't really do it for us.

The end was a fantastic moment for all of us: the 5 Spice Girls got up on stage, the place exploded, the cheers were so loud. People from all over the world, men in their 20s and 30s, mothers, everyone gave them a standing ovation. They all said a few words, thanked various people, had a group hug and danced a little. Well, Posh didn't dance, obviously. (VIDEO)

We thought it was over once the courtain had fallen, but it wasn't! Everyone left the room, it was literally just us two left. We don't know why we waited so long, but we're glad we did! On the way out, we realised the streets were shut, the barriers had been repositioned, and we couldn't go anywhere, all we could do was wait right outside the theatre's main door. We were there with Fabio and Flavia, two great Italian fans, we had such a laugh together! We didn't know what was going on, but we quickly found out: the Spice Girls and the Beckhams were about to leave the building! We got our cameras ready and filmed everything! First it was the Beckhams (VIDEO). David is as perfect-looking in real life as he appears to be in those H&M adverts (We also met him this year, he IS perfect). We didn't pay a lot of attention to Victoria, she quickly entered her car, we're not even sure she was walking, she was so fast.

Then it was the Spice Girls. Geri, Mel B, Emma and then Melanie C (VIDEO). They were all at arm's lenght. There was no way we weren't going to get Emma's attention again (She's our favourite, we think we've made that pretty obvious), so we screamed her name until she turned around and blew us another kiss. The day couldn't have been any better.

They left and we all stayed there for a bit, in disbelief, and feeling a little lost. It had been an adrenaline-packed evening, it was freezing cold and we had been standing around all day.

We talked to our friends, including Alen and Sascha, and then met up with Sam, one of the sweetest guys we've ever met, outside the M&Ms store in Leicester Square, and just went on and on about how perfect and exciting everything had been.

This kind of event really does bring people together, it's what music should be all about.

Viva Forever - Un Anno Dopo

Man, sometimes I wish I felt like a woman!

Passion red
Is it only us or sometimes it feels like being a woman could be lots of fun?! Don't lie, you've thought about it before.

It's not that we would rather be women, we are very happy with being men, but think about it for a second, they have so many things to have fun with!

We went shopping for clothes recently and every store we visited had 70% stuff for women and a mere 30% stuff for men. Isn't that unfair?! It's acceptable for women to wear anything from shirts to skirts, hot pants to trousers, jackets, t-shirts, high heels... just about everything! But is it acceptable for men to wear skirts or high heels? Exactly, it's not. Thankfully, some are brave enough to do their thing and wear heels and look fabulous in them.

As for us, we don't want to go out in a mini skirt and a pair of amazing high heels, but we do sometimes talk about what kind of clothes we would wear if we were women. And we both know our answers, of course. One of us would be a sexy secretary every single day while the other would want to be a fierce goth. We know that sounds random, but we are sure many men out there have had similar thoughts at least once in their lives, come on, admit it! So many of you are into cross-dressing after all...

Sometimes we walk into shoe shops and can't help but take a look at high heels. Why? Because they tend to be amazing. Girls, they might be uncomfortable and hard to walk in, we understand, but how good do they look? We are sure we would even go to the beach in them if we were women. So. Tacky. And don't get us started on platform shoes (which are making a comeback!), we're 90s kids, we have always dreamt of wearing a pair!

It's not all about the clothes though, what about the hair? Women can dye their hair any possible colour, cut it short, let it grow until it gets to their knees and do the most random things to it, including wearing accessories. But what about men? Yes, we can shave it all off, cut it short, slick it back, let it grow, but try as you may, you will never come up with as many combinations as a woman could, why? Because they can do all that and much more.

We would also love all the admiration we'd get from men if we were women. We think it's so flattering. Of course some go too far and end up being vulgar, but girls, just take it as compliment and keep them at arm's lenght if you're not interested! Girls like to check out men as well, but they are either very discrete most of the time or they simply don't do it half as much as us.

So? Are we right or are we right? Being a woman is definitely a lot of fun. Yes, there are a couple of things we would never envy about women, but we won't mention them, we want this post to be positive, because women are, quite frankly, superior to us. Girl power and all that!

Dunque, abbiamo ragione o abbiamo ragione?

¡Girl power y tal!

Revenge of the briefs!

David Beckham for H&M

For some obscure reasons, men have been teased for decades over their choice of underwear.

Boxers, boxer briefs, briefs, commando... it's a man's choice that will eventually be judged at some point in his life.

In the bedroom, many women and men have been known to find briefs highly unsexy, almost disgusting. We will never forget this conversation we once overheard on the tube in London, between two girls: "... and he came in, bulging all over the place in his briefs. It was like, put it away, love!".

Needless to say, not everyone will look like David Beckham in their underwear, but aren't we trying to send a positive message to the world nowadays? No matter what you look like, wear what you feel comfortable in, even if some think it's a punch in the eye. It's just underwear anyway, and since we are not Britney Spears circa 2001, we will not be wearing it over our trousers.

We think it's all about feeling confident and sexy. If you feel comfortable with your choice of underwear, it will help you with your confidence, it will make you feel sexier.

Remember, there's a difference between 'hot' and 'sexy'. There's hot people who try to be sexy and fail miserably. Then there's not-so-hot people who are utterly sexy and they don't even know it, which we find far more appealing.

Be yourself, always, and if wearing briefs makes you feel sexy and confident, don't mind those who tell you to 'put it away'!

Boxer larghi, boxer stretti, slip, niente intimo...
